I agree. An 11 would be the perfect scenario for us I think. Considering how there are maybe 6-7 elite teams this year and everybody else is capable of laying an egg any give basketball game.
An 11 or 12 would be our only shot at getting to the Sweet Sixteen. We are treading on thin ice as it is though, and dropping another seed line or two would mean losing some more games. I'd rather take care of business now and just get into the damn thing. That's progress at least.

I'm an LSU fan. i barely even follow Memphis (and only in basketball) so there goes that theory of yours.
So you are a Memphis fan in basketball but LSU fan in football? Bandwagon much?

I'm an LSU fan in all sports first and foremost but i follow Memphis basketball somewhat since i was born and raised there. That is in no way the defiintion of a badwagon fan. Nice try though.

The SEC could very well get five teams. There are now 37 at large teams as opposed to the 34 there were in past seasons. That means three more "bubble" teams will make it this year.

Yes, you are a bad bandwagon fan.

Looks about right to me. Not much upside for the SEC, only downside. Bama and MSU can play themselves out but their are no other SEC teams that can play their way in. So five teams at the most for the SEC and at least three guaranteed.

Not at all. i grew up on memphis baketball. But they dont get preference over my alma mater. anyone who cant comprehend that and thinks thats the definition of bandwagon isnt playing with a full deck. sorry to say that but its the truth.

I agree with this. Although I don't see how Alabama and Miss St could both play their way out (somebody will get a pretty decent looking computer win Saturday) of it though so I expect four teams are "guaranteed" for the SEC, although there are clearly only three locks at the moment.

I was being completely sarcastic with that last comment... chill out. Did you even notice you spelled it "badwagon"?

How is it naive? That would give you a total of 20 wins, 9-7 in SEC, and 0 impressive wins. Are we now counting impressive losses? Why am I not surprised to hear this logic from Bama fans.

bama has impressive wins already on their resume. to say they have 0 is going too far.

LOL, we would be a lock at 9-7.

How long have you been following CBB? Impressive losses have carried weight for over two decades.

I'd say Wichita St isn't too bad of a win. they are a 5th seed. If I'm not mistaking.
The team now is a completely different animal without Green/Mitchell. We would have completely dominated LSU with Green/Mitchell. How we lost against USC I have no clue, awful loss.

That whole statement is naive too. At 9-7 in the SEC our RPI would likely be in the 30-35 range. O impressive wins? Lolz. Counting impressive losses? Welcome to college basketball 25 years ago.

Hahaha no they don't. They mean jack shite unless you're sitting in the damn room discussing them. Have you been in this room I speak of and heard them talk? No you haven't so STFU. All you have proven is you can't beat any good teams, you can only hang around for a bit. Not saying Bams doesn't make it in either but they have work to do.
