I just went back and watched the super cut of all the made 3s in the game, and calling 5 of them from the first half adequately defended is being pretty generous. There were a couple early that were closely defended in the traditional sense, but closely defending a shooter like Petty also means you're basically on his hip and they weren't. If you sit back off of him any you're going to get torched. The others had a guy close out hard and on time. Otherwise it was just bad defense. They really struggled on switches, making decisions with help defense, and in transition. They were just always a step slow all night. The shooting was fantastic, but the defense, especially on the perimeter, was abysmal.

Even if it's an opinion I disagree with, I wish we had more of it. Opinions are fun. They can be discussed and debated. Seems like pissing people off is priority #1 a lot of the time. I don't understand the enjoyment anyone gets from constantly trolling a team or fan base... If you enjoy sports at your alma mater, you would think talking about the games and players would be significantly more entertaining.
In this particular instance though, I'm all aboard the board narrative.

Yeah, Alabama limped into the 2018 tourney as a 9 seed and got the luxury of playing 1 seed (and eventual champion) Villanova in the second round.
That was fun.

Is there a similar acronym/initialism for those who have constant criticism or negative reactions to anything related to Alabama?

A three seed is a little generous right now for Tennessee considering the way they are playing. I fully expect to lose to Kansas Saturday.

We were the 8 seed in 2009, after being a 14-2 conference champion (most mock brackets had us as a 4, 5 or 6 seed). Not only were we the 8 seed, we had to play in Winston-Salem against North Carolina in the second round. NC boat raced everyone that year except LSU, who was up by 5 or 6 with ten minutes left in the second but just couldn't hold on. We were royally screwed in the seeding that year by Chairman Slive's committee.

like i thought BAMA is a fugazi , a fraud , a team benefitting from a weal conference ...Sooners handled them . Tennesee is the team and only team in SEC that can make a decent run and Mizzou can possibly if they get extremely hot . NCAA BB is Big 10 and Big 12 this yr (like most yrs) ..Oh well football season isnt far off
