If Bama can keep playing as well as they have been in this stretch, they will be higher than a 3 seed. Are Bama fans concerned that the team may be peaking too soon?
Tomorrow is a huge game for LSU. It will be interesting to see how they respond to that arse whooping Tuesday night.

They'll lose in the first round unless they are shooting 75% from 3-point range.

You can call it peaking. I call it setting up inevitable disappointment.
Bama basketball fans live in a perpetual cycle of hype and hope, early-mid season success, met with disastrous end of season letdowns.
I think there are still Bama fans asking themselves if this team is for real or not.

Vols are legit ..BAMA is not a true 3 seed though ..more like a 5 right now . SEC is weak.

I think the SEC is actually better than they get credit for. That being said, Bama isn't really built for a tournament run IMO. If they are hot with the 3 ball like the other night, they can beat anyone, but nothing else about their team really stands out.

Well, defensive efficiency is ranked higher than offensive efficiency at the moment.
Defense travels and I think Bama’s threat to make the 3 at a high clip opens up the dribble drive, which has been excellent recently.

Bama is ranked in the top 15 in AdjO, AdjD, and AdjT right now. Some of those numbers may drop off a little through the end of conference play, but they’re a well balanced team that seems really well suited for tournament play.
Just because they killed LSU with 3’s all night doesn’t mean that’s their only trick. They have multiple players that can finish at the rim, which opened up all those 3’s and their defense for that past month had been outstanding.

For what it’s worth, I think LSU is much better than the game they played against Bama and I’m not expecting the return game in Tuscaloosa to be a blowout of that fashion. They have a lot of talented offensive players, but someone will eventually have to guard a shooter for them to be successful.

Why do you say that? Their team energy and hustle on the defensive side alone is notable and they also have one of the best defenders in the country.
