A lot of these so called 2 and 3 star campers will be playing a few games that could be used for evaluation
Yep and Texas can attend camps at other locations.

Holy shite do A&M fans really feel like they're the "elder" in that relationship.
I don't know a single person outside Aggiedom that would ever think that. It's one thing to hate the role of little brother, but don't try and flip the script. It's just sad.

Older, richer, bigger university. We've been Daddy to them for well over 100 years

There were 27 prospects registered for this camp. The majority of them went to Madison Prep.
None of these kids would have been offered by Texas

Part of me snickers at LSU's cockblock of the horns; but pissing off high school coaches is never a good approach.
Let the kids talk to everyone; LSU has more than enough to offer on its own without resorting to tactics rooted in insecurity.
I couldn't agree with this statement more. Kids should have all opportunities open to them regardless of whether it is a pursuit of learning or athletics.

Gotta do something. Aggy stupidly opened the door for LSU and Alabama to clean up while they sat in the corner chanting "SEC, SEC."
A&M would skullfrick Texas to death right now. That's just a fact. Every SEC school sans maybe Vandy and Ole Miss would.

Any school with a pulse in our situation would've done the same thing--decades earlier than we did. What you characterize as stupidity is the best decision Texas A&M University has made since allowing women to enroll.
If a Texas kid who is recruited by the horns, LSU, and/or Alabama decides to take his talents to Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa, that's on your university and coach.
Wipe your tears and cut the schmaltzy tales of hardship. And leave us out of your craptastic situation.

Speaking as a high school coach in Louisiana, I can honestly say I haven't heard a single coach complain about this aside from the one guy who hates LSU from Madison Prep.
Belhaven is lovely and plenty close to Louisiana Hal. Host your 27 person camp in Jackson.

Texas does have 48 other states they can host camps.
Not hosting a football camp is not preventing anybody from anything really.

Yes, hard to imagine why, but they truly do believe that. They believe they're a more storied program than LSU, too. Nobody beats aggy in the game of self-deception.

Says who?
Stop trying to ingratiate yourself.
Your act is obvious.
Go lurk on an Iowa State or Tech board.

I'm all for L6U doing whatever they can to keep Texas away from our recruits.
