It does. Number one offense in the country. “But muh haven’t played anybody.” 4-0 and 1-0 in the SEC, also won at Texas. LSU’s offensive success scares the rest of the league. Great wide receivers, great Quarterback. Auburn and Florida are talented but can’t pass the ball well enough. It’s LSU, Alabama, and Georgia. Everyone else is an afterthought, it seems early to say but definitely true.

If LSU had a dominant defense I’d agree.

But right now it seems like all the top ranked teams in the country have spots on their teams that are lacking just enough that they aren’t unbeatable.

I’m hoping Alabama’s defense and OL improves but if they don’t, it wouldn’t shock me in the slightest if they slipped up to a team that they shouldn’t. Same with LSU(mostly because their schedule is tough). I’d feel the same way about Clemson if they had a few more tough opponents.

Only Alabama fans should respond this way.

Texas A&M is going to get merked.

Why? Why should I care either way at this point

Your defense looks incredibly soft but none of it matters to me as an A&M fan at this point

Our game is just too far out now, if we played in the next two weeks? I’d care a lot more

But for now? Meh

I’m much more concerned about everyone on our schedule BEFORE LSU

Yep. Nobody has ever won a title running the football and playing good defense

Because I’m not worried about something that is a long way away?

Ok

Not recently. You have to be able to throw. If Auburn doesn’t understand that then they are behind the times.

Incredibly soft

Want to know how I know you didn’t watch the games?

Up until the 2nd half of the Texas game, when we lost 3 defensive starters and 1 D-line depth player, our defense was completely dominant. 10 points in 6 quarters.

Then we got into a shootout with Texas, and missing 4 defensive players gave up 31 points to a top 10 offense in CFB. Then we sleepwalked a drive against NWST, gave up an extra 7 points, then gave up 0 points and barely any first downs in 2.5 Quarters.

Then against Vandy we sleepwalked another drive (I will admit this has been a problem) and gave up a total of 17 points on defense for the next 15 drives, and held them to the same number of first downs total as the lauded Georgia defense.

There are certainly things that need improving, but “Incredibly soft” is ridiculous.

I’m not disagreeing with you. Until we start playing defense we need to keep our yaps shut.
