Don't kid your myopic self.
LSU NEVER HAD A NARRATIVE.
This was ALL Florida and the SEC.
FL was willing to take the consequences. They played poker and probably won.
Regardless of outcome, they will be healthier, and gain a competitive advantage, no matter the resolution.
Don't try to deflect.
You won.
Looking like idiots resembling female genitalia is really a small price to pay when you would have been embarrassed on your home field.

Lawyers are kicking their chops for the class action suit for lost revenue should LSU be forced to give up the November 19th home game.

Completely untrue. If your "rational" people reside in Louisiana, I understand where you are coming from. The rest of the nation is laughing at you and your fan base. Sorry.

How mad are you going to be when LSU comes to Hogtown on 11/19 and loses? Cause you already seem really mad.

You can move on. Hopefully Alleva will sack up and agree to November 19th
So UF will graciously split the gate to cover the extra $2-3 mil that the SEC insurance won't cover after buyouts and travel, right? I mean, LSU did this for USC last year. And I'm sure you guys will take up donations for relief for a community that actually DID get hit by a natural disaster recently. Right? LSU did that for USC, as well.
And then your ace AD who knows how to bend Sankey like a pretzel will join Joe Alleva in calling for the LSU-A&M game to be moved from Thursday to Saturday. Right?
You guys are cool with all that? Because that's likely what it will take short of an edict, which unlike past commissioners, Sankey doesn't look to be man enough to hand down.

Nope. Just the real world. You?

I'm truly stunned at how many Gators are pleased with Foley and Florida's cowardice.

You Sir are a damn LIAR, just like your AD!!!
Don't try to put any of this at our feet, when Foley ruled all!!

mily affected by the storm. Security personnel and other emergency personnel were diverted to areas of need. If you wanna play, we'll see you on Nov 19. Otherwise, quit yer bitchin.
LSU offered to play in an empty stadium due to lack of security personnel and fly in and out day of. UF has lost the home game now, and its gone, so don't engage in logical fallacies about "giving up a home game." You did. Willingly. The SEC's insurance will have to pay you something for it.
So, while you would have lost potential revenue playing in an empty stadium, it wouldn't have been more than what you have already lost, and it would have been BY FAR AND AWAY the cheapest to reimburse of any proposed solution. No other teams. No buyouts. No neutral sites. No games on unscheduled weekends. UF could have been paid close to, if not completely in full (as is already being done), AND the game would have been played and this whole mess could have been avoided.
Sure, it's VERY unorthodox. However, there is precedent. The 05 UT-LSU Monday night game, as far as the choice of days, and flying in and out day of. Logistically, the SEC Basketball tournament in Atlanta that was directly affected by a tornado is a perfect model. The games HAD to be played, so they moved to GA Tech and had to substantially limit the crowd. The first few were limited to players' and coach's families and few others. So don't act like this couldn't have been a viable solution. UF just didn't want it, and stalled to be sure it didn't get due consideration.

Florida is getting roasted on the television networks, online, and on sat radio yesterday and today.
whether I have a life is certainly debatable, but claiming Florida is not getting roundly criticized over all this is not.

How are these statements incongruent? I said that Monday was on the table for LSU. As in, LSU would have played Monday if given the chance. Allevas comments that you quoted verify my statement.

So I misspoke when I insinuated that they considered neutral sites in their discussions. i should have said that LSU would have considered neutral sites. Pay attention to what Alleva said...
"Alleva: Jeremy said that in his press conference that THEY didn’t even look at other sites."
Alleva is saying that THEY, meaning UF, didnt EVEN look at other sites. By saying "they" hes implying that LSU looked at or considered neutral sites but that they(UF) didnt.
The question wasnt asked if you(LSU) didnt even consider neutral sites but instead, "They didnt even consider neutral sites"?
The lines. Read between them.

You're not the first LSU to inject lawsuits into the discussion.
Says a lot.
