I think Alabama has made adjustments as games develop better than any team in the country this year. I expect the opening line to be Bama -6.5

Kinda confirms what we all know. Probably gonna be a repeat of the Ole Miss game.

Last team with the ball will have a chance to win.

I'm not talking about the refs. Stop being a pussy.

They are very very sensitive about the refs today.

Makes you wonder why, huh?

Conclusion:
This game becomes a shootout
Bama can’t win a shootout

against LSU's d they could. Auburn and Army have really terrible offenses. We are not great yet but we are miles ahead of those 2.

I think both teams are gonna face their toughest opponent this year.
Should be a good game.

How about opponent adjusted stats

LSU and Bama have both played 3 teams in the top 25:

LSU:
Ole Miss
Mizzou
FSU

Bama:
Texas
Ole Miss
Tennessee

Both have played 2 OOC chumps:

LSU:
Grambling
Army

Bama:
MTSU
USF

Schedule is pretty equitable to this point, far as I see

In fact, every game since 2015 that has been played no issues with officiating once I saw the replays and got the rule straight listening to the rules expert.

Wasn't there a no call dirty late hit from Dickerson in 2019?

I’m not sure if there is an objective strength of schedule calculation, but this website lists LSU #1 and Bama #2 so it should be about even.

LSU defense is improving vastly.

Bruh, we played auburn and army. Y’s I’m happy the defense didn’t look completely lost and disorganized, but these two teams are legitimately two of the worst offenses in college football.

Agreed, but I didn’t expect this defense to shut anyone out this season (even Grambling scored 10) and we held Army scoreless with 12 possessions.

A big difference is that Bama has played 2 top 20 defenses, and LSU hasn't played a defense ranked higher than Arkansas, who is at 37.

I have no illusions about the game. LSU O is firing on all cylinders, largely in part to them being able to run the ball so effectively. LSU shouldn't be able to do whatever they want on the ground against Bama's front, which will make things more difficult for them than their previous games. We also have the best secondary they'll have faced this season, which is a big positive for us.

Gotta think that LSU will still put up points, so our offense will have to be much more efficient and productive, in the first half particularly.

Should be an incredible game in an incredible atmosphere per usual.

I personally do not like the match up unless our defense finds another gear.

Conclusion: Just confirms the obvious. LSU's good offense is way better than Bama's good defense, but LSU's defense is way worse than Bama's horrible offense.

Ahh. I remember when I was 12 and thought non-adjusted stats meant anything.
