Lols. You are genuinely on another plane. I never said Bama didn't get breaks, but they certainly overcame more than they got over the course of the game.

It's how football goes at times.

It was a two possession win. That's not the refs.

Did they? Or did they make the plays in spite of the breaks

Show me a single instance of me saying Bama won yesterday because of the refs.

I'll wait. . .

You are yelling at the sky. I started all of this by saying I liked your thread and you.

Yet, here we are.

Can we just kiss and make up. Or keep talking past each other?

Lsu third downs on offense will determine this game.

Can the Bama d confuse jd and denbrock?

I think it's going to be about if Alabama can contain JD and get coverage sacks. LSU's OL will have its work cut out for them.

LSU offense is best in the country. Bama offense is average. LSU defense is improving vastly. LSU will dominate this game. JD5 will run all over Bama defense, if Bama focuses on stopping JD5, he will throw it all over the yard. I believe LSU has best overall set of receivers in country. It won’t be close. Only chance Bama has is the refs that cheat for them in Tuscaloosa as we know they will.
LSU> Bama + Refs.

This is atrocious for a Saban coached team. His loyalty to horrible assistants is his Achilles heel.

I think this game will come down to who can score touchdowns and not field goals in the redzone.

Both teams will move the ball. Hopefully we can score 6 when on that side. If not, Bama will win as they have a better defense and it’s not close.

I know most are saying this is an average defense but Saban will have them ready and this game should be great

Here’s to a Tigers win!

Efficiency Adjusted for Opponents

Scoring Offense:
LSU: 1st
Bama: 30th

Rushing Off per Att:
LSU: 8th
Bama: 58th

Passing Off per Att:
LSU: 2nd
Bama: 7th

Scoring Defense:
LSU: 74th
Bama: 7th

Rushing Def per Att:
LSU: 99th
Bama: 11th

Passing Def per Att:
LSU: 45th
Bama: 11th

Analysis:
LSU has been a bit under the radar because of the losses, but their offense is absolutely nasty.

They can run and pass with equal effectiveness right now and are likely to put up points on anyone they play.

The issue is obviously the defense. 74th overall is really bad, but even worse they aren’t functional right now against the run or the pass. The rush defense at 99 means teams can pretty much sustain drives at will which could limit possessions for the offense if the run game can grind out 8 minute drives for Bama.

Bama on the other hand is borderline top 10 in almost every defensive category.

Offensive rush efficiency is really deceptive for them at 58th, but most of that is sack numbers. Pass offense is ultra elite right now at 7th which is completely inexplicable given the inconsistency of the Bama offense YTD.

This will be one of the most entertaining games of the year because you have LSU that’s basically a B12 Lincoln Riley style all gas no brakes team playing a Bama team that is erratic offensively and elite defensively for the SECW at night.

Because LSU is the only team who is improving week to week.

I agree. I feel good about LSU's chances of going in there and winning, but odds are at Home Bama will be very tough to beat.

Redzone effectiveness is going to be key for LSU. This will be the best defense LSU has played since FSU. I still think that game was lost in the 1st half by LSU. 6 offensive possessions, 5 redzone trips and 17 points, 1 time stuffed on inside the 2 1st and goal and the other time getting stuffed on a 4th and half a yard around the 11 yard line.

Regarding the officiating, to be honest, I think the LSU/Bama games vs Saban got there in 2007 have been officiated outside of 2 games, pretty straight up (2009 in Tuscaloosa and 2014 game in Baton Rouge aside). In fact, every game since 2015 that has been played no issues with officiating once I saw the replays and got the rule straight listening to the rules expert.

With that said, the only thing that concerns me about this upcoming game is I suspect (no proof, so just a hypothesis) that the league would like the last year of Division play to have a UGA/Bama finale.

So if LSU is to win, go make the plays when they are available and like BK said last year, take it out of the officials hands and don't let a 50/50 bang bang play be the difference of the game.
