What makes an Auburn fan wake up and post this? Do you not have enough issues with your own program? Would you not enjoy winning 9 or 10 games a year?? Just please help me understand your thought process.

We are preseason ranked #9, we bring back a top 3 Heisman favorite, we bring back a lot of other good players and broke the bank on a crazy transfer class. We've got like the 8th highest odds to win the natty. And 12 teams make the playoff. It's not crazy to call us a contender.

And for some reason it's going to all turn around this season. Nobody can really say what that reason is, but it's for sure going to happen

I still can’t believe how we went from mostly functional in 2022 to completely useless in 2023. The ‘23 offense and the ‘22 defense probably gets you to the playoff.

I love the statistics and information you bring to the board.
Do you just do deep dives statistically on teams on google or AI chats or do you have a specific football site you are able to find this information with relative ease?
If so, I’d love to know what it is because statistics don’t lie and you always have some very solid ones that are a bit more magnified and important than just wins, losses, etc.

The defense improved from 2023 to 2024 so 13th to 14th in the SEC is a but irrelevant there, 28 ppg to 24 ppg from 23 to 24
Baker had his impact, unfortunately the personnel at some positions was just not close to LSU standards. We just recruited/portaled in a whole new secondary, safety group was abysmal last year and main cause of defensive stats being way worse than they could have been.
We got the Jimmy's and Joe's now, and will look way better this season on defense. Losing guillory game 1 and Perkins not long after hurt quite a bit at positions that couldn't afford it last year.
