Roster continuity, especially at guard, is the name of the game of college basketball these days

If you can't see that then you're lost

LSU will have talent next year but thinking they'll be a Top 10 team next season because they have some shiny new toys is cute

You'll be very talented. I see too much roster turnover for you to be a Top 10 team, though. My official position on next year's LSU team assuming Smart and Williams are gone is a 7/8 seed

If Watford and Days come back they are a 4 seed at worst

Yeah probably 3 starters back and a top 3 recruiting class. What a bunch of corndogs thinking they’ll be good and all

We had four starters coming back from a team that won a tournament game, a Top 5 class, and the most highly sought after big man grad transfer in the country, and we're going to be in the 8/9 game

If Smart leaves you're replacing most of your backcourt production. It's hard to win with new, inexperienced guards

Obviously what you’re saying is possible, but it’s not any more probable than suggesting LSU is going to be loaded next season with top 10 talent. We’ll just have to see, baw.

I think a 7 seed is the 50th percentile projection for LSU next year if their roster turns over the way I expect

You'll still be a Top 5 SEC team next year and should have baseline tourney expectations. It's not an insult to say a Top 10 expectation might be a bit much
