Not a chance in hell Napier goes into Baton Rouge at night and comes out with a W.

The betting underdog has won 8 of the last 12 games in this matchup. I think you guys will be favored at home unless Clemson walks the dog with you.

Its a bad matchup for you guys. All your QB can do against us is complete mostly short type passes and he is sack prone when he tries to buy time to throw deeper. Your running game isn't good enough to overcome that.

Your logic is based on our game last season, and that’s ok. LSU fans are expecting improvement in all of the areas that you mentioned and with good reason.
It’s certainly a bold take to just come out and say Florida will win that game without a doubt. Especially when you consider the environment that Florida will face in the SEC home opener in Tiger Stadium. Most UF fans will disagree with you. I think even the most optimistic UF fans will say that game is a toss up at best.
LSU didn’t play their best in the swamp a year ago and probably underestimated UF, it was still a very close game. I believe the team remembers that and we won’t see the same performance this year.
You’re right in that we will see what happens in week 3

Did you factor coaching as well? Any big games might look really bad for LSU if Kelly can't win them.

Missouri is clearly not a big game.

How can Ole Piss fans be so confident when they couldn't get it done with a 3-year starter at QB who was a 1st-round draft pick, and lost collectively the best front 7 on defense in school history? Yet you are talking playoffs with 4 returning starters and a 1st year starter at QB.

Make that make sense.

OH, and tell me the last time you played in the SEC Championship game.

I'll wait!

I would bet on Napier before I would bet on that ragtag bunch from Ole Piss.

LSU has been recruiting top talents for a very long time and Missouri hasn't until the last couple of years. Still behind top teams but it is a lot better and still has a chance to make the playoffs this year. Thanks to the new transfer rule change and the NIL. Ole Miss wouldn't be good without the new transfer rule change and the NIL. Both Ole Miss and Mizzou have jumped in rankings in the last couple of years. Yet the LSU roster is still better than Ole Miss and Missouri but ended up ranked below those two teams. I believe Kelly was the reason for LSU being ranked behind Ole Miss and Missouri. Coaching does matter.

It's mostly because LSU played a much tougher schedule.

2024 Strength of Schedule

LSU #14

Missouri #34

Ole Miss #37

That doesn’t change the fact that Ole Miss looked like the better team.

It's about winning, not looking good.
