Ole Miss played circles around Louisiana State and that sickly little midget coach of theirs, Ole Miss was the better team by a mile

Boy if an LSU fan said something like this, the board would drop a nuke on them.

It's all good fun. Season can't get here fast enough. LSU/Ole Miss is going to be one hell of a game.

The thing LSU fans seem to ignore is that while they won the Ole Miss game last year, Ole Miss outplayed them. LSU was fortunate that Kiffin pulled defeat from the jaws of victory. That doesn’t change the fact that Ole Miss looked like the better team. That should concern LSU fans and piss off Ole Miss fans.

Last year, Ole Miss for the first time since 2008, was bigger, stronger, faster and more talented than LSU. That was clear as day for anyone who has followed both programs.

Ole Miss should have beaten LSU last year. Ole Miss went all in last year and had a roster that should have made the playoffs. Kiffin somehow screwed it up losing to LSU and Florida, two teams that they were clearly better than last year.

The script, however, has flipped this year and LSU will most definitely be more talented than Ole Miss, and Florida should be too.

LSU has a very difficult September playing Clemson, Florida, and Ole Miss, but they will end the month with only one loss, at most.

Hell LSU outplayed Alabama in 2012..

Are you referring to 21-0 or the Yeldon dagger? Alabama beat LSU twice in 2012.

From practice reports, the Defense is back to an LSU Les Miles standard Defense causing havoc. We know the offense was going to be good, so getting practice reports of defense dominating (majority of the time) is good.

Klubnik - yes it will be a very tough game. Very unknown now

Lagway - Florida hasn't won at LSU in over a decade it seems despite playing every year

Simmons - Ole Miss has the lowest returning production of any Top 25 team last year. Simmons, 3 star meh, but they lost their entire roster. Ole Miss isn't the type of program that can say "Yes we just lost our most talented roster probably in ever, but we'll be just as good next year". I bet on them to not make playoffs at -200. Put down $100, win back $150. 50% returns takes the S&P 500 4 years to make, and you're telling me I can make 4 years of S&P 500 returns by December when they will definitely not make it? Sign me up.
