I could see Texas being favored in week 2 and maybe Auburn depending on what gear the Gus Bus is in by week 9. Otherwise agree with OP.

Early lines have LSU favored by 8 against Texas.

This should be the best team LSU has had since 2011 but with much more balance on offense. I expect them to compete for the West this season.
