Nah. Texas next year will work out roughly like Miami did this past season. LSU will win easy, expectations will go up, then everyone will realize that the team they beat soundly was significantly overrated.

I just don’t see it tbh. LSU will most likely drop 1-2 games they should have won to either Texas, Florida, Miss State, Auburn, or Texas A&M. Probably finishes 10-2 with a NY6 bowl, which is a perfectly good season.

We may be favored (i doubt it) but even if we are, it wont matter. We havent beat LSU at LSU since the 90s. I highly doubt this is the season it happens. We have an unknown at QB, a slow RB1, and an OL that was garbage last season and is 1 injury away at OT from being garbage this season.
Ive long thought Gus would be fired after the LSU game this season. It wouldnt shock me if that turned out as true. It also wouldnt shock me to see us have 1 loss this season, Gus has such Bi-Polar offenses.
But even if the extremely unlikely happens, and we lose only 1 this season, it WILL be at LSU.
