No, if the bug is limited to this week, UF should have enough players to play Mizzou based on the 10 day contact tracing protocol.

Contact tracing is 14 days, no?

That's as accurate as saying LSU's defense was a "little" bad against Missouri.

Ugh.

I’m not at all trying to make this about my team; I pray none of Florida’s athletes, coaches, and/or staff have any comorbidities (e.g., sickle cell, asthma, hypertension, undiagnosed cardiac condition).

But I’d really like to know if these players were at the A&M game last weekend—to say nothing of UF players who traveled and had been exposed but not yet seroconverted to a positive test.
I’m assuming the lines of communication are open between the programs.

Y'all take care, Florida.

As I said the 19 number being reported is very misleading.

The problem is contact tracing right now.

There is a VERY small chance the game is still played.

If yall only have 19 players in contract tracing, you will have to play

threshold is 53 scholarship players available. Yall arent close to that number yet

I’ll ban bet you it doesn’t. I’m 1000% confident it’s already been postponed. We will play LSU Dec 12th if football is still being played.

It’s way more than 19. They just stopped at 19 today and sent everyone home.

It needs to be 32 scholarhips players, not just players, forced into quarantine

Easily. Could be as many as 60 with staff. They were just in a plane together. Then proceeded to go party downtown. This isn’t good.

I agree with you, but as of now, there is a VERY small chance.

It mostly likely gets canceled.

Bad LSU football is still LSU football at the end of the day, nobody wants the game to be cancelled

I'd rather they all get it now, so it's not an issue going forward. It's far safer for these kids to have Covid in isolation, than to drive a car. Get it out of the way now. If even one ends up in the hospital I would be shocked.

My fear with Vandy is they shut it down for the year and screw up peoples schedules.

They were only going to beat missouri anyway. So what if they quit.

It’s only 6 positive cases contact tracing is the issue. They suspended activities to figure out how many have to quarantine for contact tracing. Looking like upwards of 60.

It’s very likely its more. They sent the players home today and it was up to 19 combined for players impacted (positive tests and contact tracing)

If you don’t play with 65+ scholarship players then y’all are true pussies. We played Alabama with less than that
