I don't have any problem with it. Purdue and LSU have never played before, I like playing new teams. Still waiting on the first time we play Michigan

What's wrong with the Citrus Bowl? Was actually expecting a lesser bowl. Purdue have cool fans too. Pretty good for CBK year 1 of a rebuild.

[ quote] massive rebuild, just the beginning, ahead of us, just getting started [/quote]

This just never gets old. Its like the cub-scout handbook for bayou folk.

You chaps are lucky though, to have never really seen the depths of despair without rising back up. ( Not too many sidewalk Mizzou fans around eh ?)

Where was the part about only having 11 players last year? That was my favorite.

You are making stuff up. Nobody ever said 11 players. The Official number was 39 that went, but Nuss was not going to play, so effectively it was 38 vs. KSU last January. LSU went into practice in spring 2022 with 41 initial qualfiers, Micah Baskerville who had opted out of the bowl game to go pro, decided to return and Emery was academically ruled out for the game, that is your 41. LSU had 4 other guys who were preferred walkons who earned scholarships (Williams RB #27 for e.g., and he should be viewed as that based on his play) that got LSU to 45 plus 15 Portal + 15 HS signees, LSU had 75 guys to start fall practice of which 71 were guys who signed a scholarship out of HS (i.e. Initial qualifiers). LSU was 13 to 14 short roster wise vs. everyone they had to play save Auburn who was at 80 initial qualifiers, Aggie, FSU, Bama, TENN, Florida were all in better shape roster wise than LSU. Those are the facts PERIOD!
