48-35 OU wins. I think burrows will is broken by the 3rd Q. OU ate Baylor and Oklahoma states Olines alive the last few games of the season they will be tackling him all night.

Dude we don't talk of injuries here. Two things we dont want, the refs screwing things up and injuries.

I think the OU offense is substantially better than the Vandy offense. I expect OU to score somewhere around 74 to 80. Our defense has been garbage all year and none of them won a Heisman. Burrow will be spending his next few weeks hanging out with his new friends in NY taking it easy until the draft. Look for OU to win 75 to 3.

I have this feeling OU will win. Idk why or how but I believe they’re gonna play really good with an underdog mentality.

I feel like if there's one thing our defense has inspired confidence in, it would be stopping a good WR. considering, ya know, we have THE top cornerback in the country, another first round pick at the other corner spot, and the thorpe award winner behind them

And save me the devonta smith stuff, sting had a bad game, devonta is a stud. it happens.

You didn’t play any good offense.

I've saw where a bunch of Oklahoma baws are talking shite about LSU and the SEC in general which is something I didnt really expect seeing as how their season went. I even went to some of their message boards and saw where they claimed their offense is better than Bama's with Tua and Baylor's defensive line is better than Auburn or Florida's. Some of them also claim Kansas State would be middle to top tier in the SEC.
Typical posting a bunch of crap without providing links and “Oh, they’re saying bad things about my SEC brethren.”
Face it. You are a pussy and have nothing better to discuss than feeling disrespected now that we are 2 days past Burrow winning the Heisman. Grow up.

He asked for a prediction...OU has been hammering QBs since the Kstate game. LSU’s Oline is suspect as well. I see burrow getting hit often, I hope nobody is injured of course but this is football.

I dont feel disrespected at all. I just cheer for them, I'm not a player or anything. I wouldnt feel disrespected by OU's fanbase anyway since they apparently dont know what even happens outside Oklahoma. Consider this gem from Dirt Burglar:
quote:
. They won the national championship in 1958 and proceeded to be mediocre to bad in the intervening 45 years. They would jump up and have a good season every once in a while but were never seen or talked about as a threat to win the national title in those intervening years

If Hurts protects the football, I think OU barely squeezes off a win. I think this game gets settled in the 4th quarter.
Too much disrespect from the media, and I'm digging the underdog mentality and disrespect. OU has everything to gain, and nothing to lose.
I think Burrow gets hit more than he has all season. LSU fans act like the Sooners have never faced a passing offense. The spread was invented in the Big 12.
Texas, a common opponent, was crushed by Baylor, and OU had to beat them twice.
OU and Baylor will win for the confetence, and OU wins #8.

Not even close.
The modern Big 12 spread is a combination of the Hal Mumme Air Raid (Kentucky) and the Steve Spurrier Fun and Gun (Florida).
The zone read was made famous by Urban Meyer at Utah.
