Awesome you say? So tel me what has he done in his whole bama career?
He has played two seasons I believe, 20 receptions, 30 or more? How many TD's? Five or ten maybe?

Don't worry, he'll be playing this year, ready to burn the next overrated LSU DB.

Bet you said the same thing last offseason.
Again show me how AWESOME he has been at the capstone. Don't just proclaim it as fact.
Oh that's right that's how they roll in tuscalossa. They play for saban so they are the bestest most awesome ever.

The point is he was starting and leading receiver before getting hurt last year. He may not be a great WR but he doesn't have to be since Bama has Ridley, Stewart, Dieter, and OJH.

Just like you guys say same this stuff every year for the last 5 only to be proven wrong.

How bout this one - let's look at the games.
First - Bama went 5-1 against common opponents that LSU went 4-2 against (counting the head to head, Bama was 6-1 and LSU was 4-3).
Second, look at the situations:
LSU vs. common opponents:
Miss State - 378 total yards, 335 passing
Auburn - 260 total yards, 100 passing (19 attempts)
Florida - 326 yard, 271 passing (32 attempts)
Ark - 440 yards, 141 passing (16 attempts) - didn't have to pass much b/c they were busy running for 300 yards on you
Ole Miss - 432 yards, 280 passing (34 attempts)
Tamu - 250 yards, 161 passing (31 attempts)
Bama vs common opponents:
Miss St - 393 yards (15 more than LSU), 304 passing (21 less than LSU) on 45 attempts
AU - 261 yards (1 more than LSU), 170 passing (70 more) on 23 attempts (4 more)
Florida - 180 total yards (146 less than LSU), 165 passing (106 less) on 24 attempts (8 less)
Arkansas - 220 total yards (220 less than LSU), 176 passing (35 more) on 32 attempts (16 more attempts)
Ole miss - 433 total (1 more than LSU), 341 passing (61 more) on 45 attempts (11 more attempts) - 139 came on 2 broken plays
Tamu - 316 total (66 more), 284 passing (123 more) on 45 attempts (14 more)
So, against common opponents, LSU gave up 2,086 total yards, 1,288 passing on 186 attempts (6.92 per attempt)
Bama gave up 1,803 total yards, 1,440 passing on 202 attempts (7.13 per attempt)

Please tell me you aren't actually trying to insinuate that LSU had a better defense than Alabama in 2015.

quote:And last offseason you questioned Bama's WRs corps because Cooper was gone.....You questioned Mullaney because he had never played a game in a Bama uniform - you questioned OJ Howard because he wasn't a starter over Volger.
Bet you said the same thing last offseason.
Turns out the Bama WRs stepped up and played great, including Mullaney and OJHoward showed out in the national championship game.
Are you trying to argue that Saban doesn't get the most out of his players?

LSU is a damn good program with talented players and great coaches. I hope they keep Les Miles forever.

I've heard that the 2031 LSU team is going to be the best ever at every position, and they will be the ones to break tStreak. Can you confirm?

What about the LSU idiots in this thread that think LSU has a better DL, LB, or DB unit/units."?
They do this to themselves every year and then end up crying about a loss and screaming for FBI investigations. One day, they'll learn...or maybe not.

To be fair most of those fans are either idiot kids who don't know how to shave yet or the les nazis who ignore reality and shoot their mouth off about lsu. Fact is Bama maybe more dangerous on offense this year with foster and Ridley and their d will be loaded lsu has a lot of unproven talent and a lot of that talent on d lends itself to arandas scheme. The game is in tiger stadium where the games have been nail biters it's our best chance to beat Bama in recent memory but it's a coin flip at best

Good job Germantown.
You'd be an excellent used car salesman in
ullabumma....
Way to reel them in. There are many Skoal stains on too-small tee-shirts right now.

Those common opp Teams ran for over twice as many yards vs L5U. And scored more points. Add in head to head and it gets even worse for L5u.
They return almost all of the same players who got manhandled by Bama. Bama will be as good if not better this upcoming year and by the time the game vs LSU the first year starters will have had plenty of playing time to have worked out any kinks. Plus the 2 weeks of practice leading up to the game will really help Bama rest a little and everyone knows Saban and Co. will prepare and game plan better the Miles.

You could have put any half arse QB behind that Oline of Bama lay year and they would have looked decent. Oh wait, y'all did put a half arse QB behind that line.
