I like LSU's D more than I do Oregon's O. LSU will sputter on O but not enough for Oregon to get the W.

LSU - 24
Oregon - 20

On the field, at what position will we be outmanned?

The front for LSU will wear them down on both sides of the ball.

Right now I think it's a safe bet that the top 4 is going to look like this:
1)Oklahoma
2)Alabama
3)Oregon
4)LSU

Let's say LSU wins the game impressively and JJ puts up a solid performance. Where does LSU end up in the rankings next week?

Depends on how the others do.

They tend to move teams more early in the season. However, I would say 2 at best.

An LSU loss would be catastrophic IMO. Cam Newton made LSU look like a pee-wee team. Chavis doesn't handle "new and different" well - I have an ominous worry about LSUs defense in this one.

Time to prepare seems to play a huge factor when dealing with Oregon.

LSU 35
Oregon 24

Cant ever count out Oregon with that offense of theirs, but LSU is too physical for those pansies.

Oregon St almost punked us coming off a national championship year. Our QB play then is reminiscent of what we have now. I'm not buying into the hype. The game is a tossup IMO!

I agree, but I think that LSU will have their way in the trenches. Which normally leads to a W.

It will be a good game until the second half, then I think LSU will start wearing them down.

LSU- 38
Oregon- 24

LSU will win ball control. Long drives. Time of possession. This will give the defense time to rest. Still LSU better have their cardio ready because I have never seen other offenses help up the defensive players like Oregon does. Their plan is obvious with the up tempo cardio.
