maybe if every offense they play against catches a bad case of dengue fever or West Nile they will be the top defense. Both are real possibilities.

So does that mean LSU will at least be able to keep it somewhat close with Mississippi State till halftime? I sure hope so, last years game was just super boring. I fell asleep and missed most of the second half.

It's true. LSU hasn't given up one point or even one yard so far this season.

Just like when they shut BYU out and said State wouldn’t score 10 on them last year... Except it’s starting even earlier now.

Not a down played yet Hoss,

Tiger rant Football season calendar folks:

Mid July "Best conditioned in country"

Late July/Early August "QB X and OC Y will shock the world"

Late August "Best defense ever" We have NFL talent at all positions/We're going smash OCC Team X....No less than 10 win team.

Early September: Slight setback

Late September: Another setback

This defense is gonna bring some people down to reality. The offense? We'll see, though it's trending up finally. But you can't doubt the defense. Just ask Auburn.

None of the starting DL on this years team was available half way through the second quarter in the State game last year. You earned that win and make no excuse for the loss but to use last years result to predict this years defense is ignorant.
