Unfortunately its been confirmed its the real deal.
SEC Championship and 13-1 is ring worthy. 2nd in the nation is a fine accomplishment,but nothing to put on a ring.

With 13 wins on the top LSU could have put "9-0" or something along those lines underneath.

and the mississippI state fan who said it compares to ole miss 2003 western division champs. At least we actually won the sec and finished 2nd. Something state will never accomplish.

I don't know why y'all are pissed anymore. We won the sec and were 1-1 against the national champion with a barely functional quarterback.

Honestly, I've never had an issue with Ole Miss celebrating 2003. Look at how that unfolded -- they tied for first in the West at 7-1. Two years earlier we won the West at 5-3. They lost 17-14 and LSU went on to win the National Title. More power to them. 
Of course I had no problem wih Stony Brook's victory lap so according to the Rant I'm not much of a real fan anyway, so just disregard.

I know beating 7 ranked teams including the BCS champion and winning the SEC blows. 13-1 is shitty

Being runner up in the BCSNC is a great accomplishment for any team.

Good grief. Look at the players in these photos. They're actually proud of their rings and accomplishments. Some of you guys take this stuff too seriously.
