He just got a lifetime contract that guarantees him to be paid in the top coaches the rest of his career. Hard to beat that, just for the security alone

I am really sorry it's been a tough offseason with so many rejections in your search. It can be tough. Buck up, kiddo. I am sure you'll find someone that wants to be a Lsu eventually just like yall eventually found Johnson.

Actual reality - LSU interviewed some of the top coaches in college baseball, zeroed in on their guy, and hired the only guy they made an offer to.
