The truth is, where we are ranked anywhere but NET is irrelevant, IMO.

LSU is tied for 1st in the SEC with Tenn and UK both of whom we beat. It's time for our Tigers to finish strong and earn that SEC Championship trophy.

Stupid statement.

That NET determines the seed for March.

Hey Mike...that poor Kentucky education shines through. Read my post again. It says exactly what you believe.

Mike, Mike, Mike,

Here is what I posted...

anywhere BUT NET means I am suggesting that rankings mean nothing EXCEPT the NET rankings.

Mike also spoke about 5 teams making a run to Minneapolis in another thread. He’s senile.

No, Arkansas and Florida

Don't know how the polls feel about those, but the SEC obviously doesn't care.

In the event of a tie, head-to-head comes first (and LSU is undefeated against UK and UT).
If the head-to-head were tied (which, again, it can't be), then you start looking at won-loss records vs other conference teams, in descending order.

In other words, if teams finished tied, it's better to lose to Vanderbilt than to Kentucky.

If the SEC tourney started today, it would be seeded as followed:

1 LSU
2 UK
3 Tenn
4 South Carolina
5 Ole Miss
6 Florida
7 Miss St
8 Alabama
9 Auburn
10 Arky
11 A&M
12 Mizzou
13 UGA
14 Vandy

it's kinda funny that looking at the standings on ESPN, they have it completely reversed. They go:
UT
UK
LSU
Ole Miss
SC
Miss St
Fla
Auburn
Bama
and then the rest

Funny, you left the part I said teams that would win the championship because of their offensive and defensive efficiency in the top 10

Sorry, can’t place LSU with the 5 teams...they currently have the 71st defensive efficiency ranking in KenPom

Our defense may suck statistically, but LSU sure played better D than UK at Rupp back on Feb 12!

They would be if they didn’t have 2 terrible losses and a bad loss to UF. Why is that so hard for some to understand?

The way Kentucky is playing right now I don’t think we should jump them. Despite the shite I give them they do have the better resume. I personally think we should be above Tennessee but they will probably drop to 7-8 and we will probably be 9-10
