Baton Rouge is pretty dangerous. I don't blame the guy at all. I would be packing too if I lived in BR.

You’re exaggerating, most posters are on Edwards’ side in this or trolling.

You can make racially motivated assumptions and still be on his side. These are not mutually exclusive.

Dont forget Arizonans, we probably have more relaxed gun laws than any of those states mentioned.

Not needed to own a pistol or have it in your vehicle in Louisania.

Not sure about LA law but most states require a concealed carry permit to have a gun in your car or concealed on your person.

ETA: I hope it was legal and he walks.

Then look it up before you post a reply.

More than 3/4 of the arse@ in this thread just want to shite on the kid because he plays for LSU. If it was a bama player, this board would be sucking saban's sack if they thought it would a bama player.

Good idea smartass. Lo and behold, as I suspected, a permit is required to conceal carry handguns in the state of Louisiana. Here’s hoping the kid was legal and walks free. I fully support legal exercise of the 2nd Amendment, even by L8U football players.

Most Southern states consider the car an extension of your home and therefore guns are legal

100% incorrect. Get pulled over in Alabama or Georgia and tell the officer you have a handgun in your console. He will ask for your CCW.

I had a friend and former co-worker who was shot while trying to sell his PS4 to a guy through Craigslist. It was tragic because he was a nice dude who was just too trusting.

I'm glad that CEH is alive and was prepared to handle this situation.

Am I the only one that read this and imagined he just trucked an LSU defender in practice?

In the state of Louisiana your vehicle is considered an extension of your home and thus a concealed carry permit is not required.

You are clearly dumb as a box of rocks.

Make an uninformed post and link to Wikipedia to support your uninformed post.

How about we ask someone like the Louisania State Police.

Gee, look at that, you are wrong. Now go away. Grownups are talking here.

Gonna double down on the dumbass I see.

In Alabama a permit is required to have a weapon in your car. No such permit is needed in Georgia or Florida or Mississippi or Tennessee or Texas or South Carolina in the glove box
