Rumor is he was selling his PS4 on Craigslist and the guy tried to rob him and he shot him in self defense. The story doesn’t have names but it says LSU students involved in traumatic fatal shooting. Joe Alleva is being mentioned in the story so I know athletes are involved.

On the rant it says that the guy who was buying the PlayStation from him got in the backseat to make the transaction then tried to rob them. That is when Clyde shot him from the front seat in self defense.

Maybe the guy that was robbing him had a weapon

I know it’s hard to believe a robber could be armed in Scotlandville, La

Well damn. I'm not sure what area this falls into, but to be honest, if the robber was a threat to harm, I can't blame Helaire.

This will be interesting to see what happens.

Just saw if it was in self defense and the gun he had was legal he's good to go per Louisiana law.

The story is

Clyde was selling something on Craigslist

Guy game and tried to rob him

Clyde killed him

Clyde stayed on the scene and called the cops and paramedics

Facts

Cops are saying a person was killed, and the shooter did call the cops and paramedics and stayed on scene

Sounds like legit self defense and the shooter didn’t want to pull the trigger

I would think a message board full of Texans, Alabamans, Mississippians, Georgians and the like would be all for someone using their god given right of self defense with a firearm

Let’s see

Yeah but not like the Alabama players do

His dad's a cop so I'm sure he had a license for it.

I hope Clyde stays out of trouble. If this is how the story happened, then I don't blame him one bit and it's one less thief in the world

You don’t need a license for a gun

Not just student athletes but everybody in general need to be careful selling stuff to people online. If you are make sure it’s at a police station or a public place especially this time of the year.

I agree. I hate thieves. I'm sorry that Clyde had to be put in that situation.
