Sorry, I just felt the need to quote this. Apparently Nov 5th didn't happen, and LSU = Ole Miss.

I think most objective people will agree that LSU returns more talent than Alabama. However, that doesn't guarantee a win in Nov - I am interested in reason(s) from objective folks re: why LSU may lose that game.

That TrollTyde3 and/or BuccWildBammer guy said it was because LSU sucks according to his sources within the complex. He is an insider so I have a hard time disagreeing, however, I would like to flesh this out a bit more.

I would think the only way Bama wins is AJ plays out of his mind (again) and Mett is off. Thoughts?

I think the talent is equal at except at Oline and Linebacker where Bama has a decided advantage.

Until I actually see this LSU staff develop a competent QB post Jimbo Fisher era I will continue to believe LSU will struggle on offense.

I think Bama is still atleast 14pts better. Bama 24 LSU 10.

No. to think bamas only chance at victory would hinge on a great game by AJ and a poor game by Mett is absurd. If they have identical stats throwing the ball I'd take bama all day. Much easier to move 250 pound ends off the line than 300 pound ends

K. It took the 2011 team completely not finding the fricking building last year for Bama to look decisively better. And even then y'all didn't pull away until late in the 3rd quarter. Gumps gonna Gump I guess.

And you'd think that Bama ran the ball all down our throats the last few............ wait a minute.

Most of the world though Bama looked a couple scores better in the 1st game also . That's really the MAIN reason Bama was granted a rematch.

I just think Bama will move the ball a lot easier on the LSU Defense than Vice versa. Without a game changing defensive play or huge return, LSU can't sustain a 12 play 70 yrd drive while I think Bama can.

If both teams play a clean game without turnovers I think Bama is 2 scores better.

LSU defense isnt as good flipping field position without the turnover, as where Bama will force 3 and outs and Sustainable drives are much harder to come by against them.

Also Bama Oline is equal at run blocking, but is far superior in pass pro. Eventhough LSU pass rush will be better than Bamas. Bama seemed to really handle it well.

I'm pretty sure you were the dude that predicted Bammer walking into Tiger Stadium 2 years ago and winning 60-0.

I was waiting for someone to go full gump.

quote:

Save the home field advantage BS you shoved down our throats about "our dome" last year. How many times did you guys say "if you couldn't beat us in your place imagine how bad it will be IN THE DOME"

How many of these past LSU-UA games were following a NC in which LSU was embarrassed by UA? Revenge factor works both ways, pal.

You guys couldn't score a touchdown in in 8+ quarters of football and you wonder how they could lose???

And your amazing QB and Heisman-contending running back could only manage getting one late in the game when our defense was pretty much blown after playing 3/4 of the game. Oh and that running back is gone, but don't worry. I'm sure injury-prone EL will be much better,

This made me LOL IRL. How is it talking shite if someone thinks LSU returns better talent? And if you're saying managing LSU was as easy as managing Ole Miss, then your gumpdon might have reach a new high. LSU, Ole Miss, AND Alabama are both 0-0 right now.
