Sometimes it's quality over quantity. Yes, LSU returns more but does Bama have more talent with lesser guys?
Or coaching.

IMO LSU wins due to revenge factor, the very thing Bama used in January.
If they're using THAT for a motivator, they've lost already.

They had nothing to lose and played like it. Also, home field.
Since 2000 we're 6-1 @ Tuscaloosa. 2 of our 3 loses to them since then have been in TS. I was fricking at TWO. One, Alexander ran a freggin track meet.

What's funny if LSU would gave won the game convincingly there would've been no rematch. Everyone except the tigers new they were fortunate to pull the upset despite being outplayed. Thus the voters voted for the rematch.

LSU will have to get better at pass protection. The protection was so bad LES thought it would've been unfair to put in Lee because he lacked mobility.

I think most LSU fans think Mett is mobile because if the run against Ole Miss, but he us much closer to Mallet as far as mobility.

Bama missed another shot at a undefeated, untied, bowl championship season and will be looking to restore order.

Jesus that's 20 weeks away. Anything can happen.
Injuries, bad weather, wind, freak bounces, turnovers, rain, penalties, dropped passes, Mike could accidentally be let out and eat the Bama cheerleaders, etc....

Les Miles is 3-3 against Saban and easily could be 4-2 as he lost a close one in OT after leading much of the game, you stupid MF a-hole...

But Les's 3 wins don't compare to the beatdown Saban put on him in the bcs game.

I love the lsu stable of running backs, and Jeremy Hill might end up being the best of them all and he hasn't played a down yet. He is without a doubt gonna be special. With that being said, I think Bama has something special in Yeldon. I only watched him play in the all America game, but I was amazed at his ability. Running back is and always will be a strength for both of us

So the 2007, 2010, and 2011 games just...magically disappeared from history because of ONE game ???
We managed to win two SEC Championships and a National Championship in two of those years.
What did the Taaaaahd win in 2007 and 2010 ?????
Nothing.

LSU is 9-4 since 2000 also, including 5-1 in Tuscaloosa. Shama has beaten LSU once in the state of Alabama since last century. And you needed the help of the Bama alum sitting in the replay booth to win that one....

You guys have been reduced to Arky status bragging about head to head records and what not. The Facts are there have been 4 different national Champions from the SEC since LSU last raised the crystal ball. 3 teams from the West have captured the crystal since LSU has won the natty.

You can pick any arbitrary stat to help your case, but Bama has lifted that ball twice since LSU has.

The last time Bama and LSU sqared off the game was not competitive. LSU looked like an also ran.

He also won a close OT game after being behind most of the game. So...your 'Les could be 4-2' doesn't look quite as impressive.

You stupid MFing a-hole...

Ask them what Miles record is vs Nutt or Petrino. They never seem to mention those. I wonder why?.

Petrino is a much better coach than Miles and while Miles is a much better coach than Nutt, there head to head record says other wise.

but what about all the other games where he had brain farts? its not bama or saban that causes him to do it, its just les miles being les miles.

you gotta accept that Les might do something foolish to cost LSU the game. the question was "how could they lose in Nov?" If this were family fued, les miles would be the number one answer

If everyone on the LSU offense decides not to show up like on 1/9 while Bama does show up then yeah LSU will lose.

If they both show up it could be another intense game like last November.

Bull shite.

Had LSU lost the first game they wouldn't have gotten the rematch. It was Saban and the program bias that fricked OSU in not getting to go to the NC.

So what happened with the season you have a season split between LSU and Bama; however, LSU has a better record and won the conference. It is the most bull shite thing that has happened in the BCS.

Translation:

"Despite the fact that OSU lost to a terrible team later in the season that Bama's loss to the #1 team in the country in OT, OSU was far more deserving of the slot opposite LSU in NOLA, thus ensuring corndogs everywhere of a much better shot at winning the NC."

That's really what you mean, right?

Whether you like it or not, it IS what a lot of people thought. Using the eye test (the only real way to measure a team) most people could look and tell you that Bama only lost because of their own mistakes.
