Because of one fumble lost in his career?

He also had a fumble his freshman year in 2015 that got him in Les's doghouse.

Jeremy Hill was a surprise

He was a very talented back out of Redemptorist. I remember his being pretty heavily recruited. I don't think he was that much of a surprise.

LINK

"He finished his senior season in 2010 with 302 carries for 2,260 yards and 36 touchdowns.[1]

Regarded as a four-star recruit by the Rivals.com recruiting service, Hill was listed as the No. 21 running back prospect in his class

Feels like this is the first year in a 15 years where I really don't know anything about LSU at RB for the next year.

2011 we didn't really have a primary back, 2006 we didn't really either.

Next year you'll prob see a running back by committee but it's definitely concerning for me as we've been pretty damn spoiled at that position

He's been in the program for years. Sure, he's been stuck behind the major talent, but he's barely getting the ball in blowouts. He's never been higher than 3rd string. He wasn't a big-time talent our of high school either. O & Miles both didn't think enough of him to play him. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Your idiocy doesn't hurt my feelings baw. It usually gives me a nice chuckle.

Sort of like how you're claiming the #180 recruit in the nation and #16 overall RB "wasn't a big time talent". Anyone who's top 20 at their position is a talent. It's quite amusing.

Brossette was never the same back after he injured his leg. If the OL plays well next season, he might be able to finish his career on a high note.

Absolutely, it's about the OL. We won a natty in 03 with Justin Vincent as a true frosh and in 07 with Jacob (slow white guy) Hester. A good OL can hide an average (Trent Richardson) RB. I hope Coach Cregg can do something special with the OL.

Jeremy Hill was a USA Today first team all American along with La'el Collins. I'm also pretty sure he was a 5* by at least one service. Had to sit out a year after arrested in high school for getting a bj from an underclassmen at Redemptorist. Maybe the only reason some could possibly say he was a surprise.

Dont let the sunshine pumpers fool you. 2018 will be the worst group of LSU RBs in a decade.

Most responders here agree, I'm not feeling a lot of sunshine.

But we'll see, we really don't know yet. At QB and RB, the underclassmen were kept on the bench. Maybe for good reason, maybe not. The entire offense will be a mystery to start the season.
