Honestly no, and I hope it works out for both parties but we got the guy we wanted. Which with his resume isnt going to impress anyone but he did coach the nations leader in sacks a few years ago and is a former Gamecock himself.
this is probably a good move for both parties

You mean the roster that had 4 and 5 stars on the Dline but didnt do much?
Thats the point, youre saying our Dline sucked...we agree. youre saying we didnt recruit well at that position and thats just incorrect. Talent was there and wasnt developed.

Because I truly don’t know, other than the LBer star, who are the emerging talent at LSU on DL, LBer? I just remember Ojulari and Ali Gaye and aren’t they both gone? I know there was also a guy that went down with a knee at the beginning of the season.

You do realize effective d line performance depends on elite talent at more than just the d line positions, right?
Tell us more about the 5* talent USCe has at LB, S, and CB…
If you have it please share because I don’t know. My assumption is USCe talent doesn’t hold a candle to LSU’s there, but I could be wrong because I don’t follow USCe at all.

Any LSU fan that says this is a good hire is pumping sunshine. This is a mediocre, Mississippi State level hire. Especially for 750k a year.

Our 2 CB from last year were both drafted last week. Our S was a freshman AA. The DL had 2 former 5* top 10 HS recruits

Darius Rush - CB
Zac Pickens - DT
Kingsley Enagbare - LB
were drafted
Jaylen foster was an all SEC safety the season before last
There was talent around, he just wasnt a great coach here

I'll trust BK with his 30+ year track record of overall successful hires to see if this one pans out...

He's probably going to do well here. Kelly apparently sees something in the guy- and I'm certainly not going to try and second guess his decisions....

You’re trying real hard to convince yourself of something no one cares about. Surprisingly, it is much easier to be successful at LSU versus South Caroline.
