They lost to every conference team with a winning record. Only buffalo and Boston college had a winning record this year for them.

Before they hired this defensive coordinator, a Jalen Milroe led offense scored 42 points on them and outplayed the Heisman winner.
Fast forward to this season and a new multi million dollar defensive coordinator, and LSU’s defense once again gives up 42 points to Jalen Milroe. 84 points in 2 seasons and LSU fans still love to talk trash about him.

You don't get an award for jumping 50 spots. The goal is to win a game. And if your defense is still a liability.....it isn't a good ROI. It'll be a good ROI when you have a good defense.
