Why is it absurd. You have less talent at every offensive position than last year with a shaky young D. Add in key injuries and LSU could take a tumble like UF. It's a realistic scenario. Way more realistic than LSU winning the secw.

Shaky defense? LSU had the 15th overall defense last year while Ole Miss had the 38th.

And that was an average defense LSU fielded

When is the last time LSU had a UF type season?

You have yet to make this case, all you've proven is that the NUMBERS for LSU's returning offensive SKILL positions are lower than the numbers for the departed players who were picked up by NFL teams - and lower than Mississippi's returning offensive skill position numbers.

You have yet to actually address talent.
