I was a little shocked that LSU recruited him. Does anybody know what his current weight is?

Yeah, that's why they make the four team playoff each year.

Maybe but still State is a lesser program. No way I leave the SEC ShrimShip without a damn good reason or I have no choice.

I thought legacy only matters to players who really don't have a shot anywhere else these days but I could be wrong.

Depends on the coach.

They have never made it.

Or you could say they've only missed the 4 team playoff 5 times in their entire history.
Stop trying to out-dumb each other

Honestly should have never been offered a scholarship to play at LSU. LSU has been recruitng alot of projects on the OLine in recent years. Alot of them end up transferring when they could be adding depth in their 3rd or 4th year. Thats supposed to be one of the main reasons you bring in a 3* star project. to have them developed into a decent /good player in their 3rd or 4th year.

I watched the spring game with my old man (he's an LSU grad). Smith was thrown around like a rag doll. They say Smith is a good kid, but he will need to add a lot of strength to ever get on the field in the SEC. He would have no chance of blocking our third-string linemen right now if he had to play.

The loss of depth for LSU is concerning.

Perhaps he felt guilt over the stealing of funds from the kids hospital.

You typical are not, but you have been in the recent past.

Wasn’t he running 2nd string at LSU as a redshirt freshman?

We only had 2 guys at center, he was the default #2

LSU D-Line to soft for him.
