It’s funny how this myth keeps getting perpetuated.

Go back and look at the box score, you jackasses.

Yeah, not crossing the 50 in a half.

It was 9-0 at the half. Bama managed 3 fricking FGs.

It was 15-0 at the end of the third. That’s a 2-score game.

Bama managed 1 TD in the 4th.

That is a far cry from 65-7 and many other worse blowouts.

The DISGUSTING part is that Idiot Miles did not pull JJ and give J. Lee a shot to sling it just to see what would happen.

(LSU was not going to win; either way.)

I don’t really remember but I thought the deal was LSU did finally cross the 50 ONCE in the 4th quarter but was immediately pushed back and the drive ended at the 50 when LSU turned it over. Like Alabama’s defense said where the frick did you come from, get back on your side of the field bitch?

LSU crossed the 50 with just under 8 min left in the 4th.

92 yds on 44 plays.

Total domination by Bama D against Les and JJ.

I don’t know that TCU beats UGA once with 30 tries

I do: they wouldn’t

That’s funny . Since we actually beat Bama that same year.

They never did. That first game in 2011 proved they were better team. They just had an off night in the NC game. Probably had some injuries or something.

The talent was about as even as it gets

I think one could make the case that when LSU and Alabama have played each other sometime in the past, it was possibly the most talent ever assembled on one college football field.

And the amazing thing about this is that it didn't only happen once, it's probably occurred multiple times over the past 10-15 years.

Na I’d take that tcu wouldn’t win in thirty tries but severely underestimate a teams ability to beat themselves. If tcu just plays mistake free football and uga plays bad tcu could easily get within thirty

No, Nebraska in 01 was worse than any LSU loss. Throw in Notre dame in 2012 as well.

Say what you want about Miles, but those LSU teams under Miles were tough frickin teams and the Alabama games were just violent. I miss games like that.

That is correct and actually makes it a bit more painful. They crossed the 50 and then promptly got pushed back to the 50 on the strip sack.

I remember telling my buds before the game if Miles thinks that JJ running option all game is gonna beat Bama and lil Nicky again, we’re in for a long night. Miles was anything but inconsistent. It worked in the reg season I’m sure they still won’t be prepared for it, right? First 2 series and I knew we were hosed.
