The facts are MSU's QB and WR's struggle and state loses 17-14 at home. LSU's QB and WR's struggle and the Tigers win 27-3 on the road.

LSU is going to pummel State.

Moo states offense is bumphis. Hey Chad, have you met Patrick peterson? You won't be scoring. Lsu wins by 14 at their first home game. Keyword is first home game at night. Tiger stadium and the atmosphere will be electric. Mullen Stands no chance at night

respect Mullen, and I feel he will have state in a bowl game as early as next season.
But I watched the AU-MSU game, and state's WR blew chunks, and their QB's weren't much better
and your defense gave up 400 and 24 to a JV squad. they improved. why can't State's offense?

Brandon Heavens is probably as talented as Bumphis.

I don't think that will happen. Y'all have talent but not the coaching to blow us out. Lsu will win but it will be close.

Because state's offense is going up against better defenses now, and it's getting exposed.
You are still blinded by the points you put up in your first game. East Carolina put up the same number of points on Memphis as you did.
Not hatin, just saying.

I'll agree that Jefferson blows, but everything else looks solid to me. And yeah, Mullen is light-years ahead of Les int he coaching department.
LSU wins, 28-17.

quote:nearly 1/4 came on one play. at the beginning of the 4th quarter, yates had barely over 100 yards passing. and that wasn't the unc backups. the only starting missing on offense was the rb. yates is respectable and so is the unc offense. lsu handled them easily until lsu started subbing in a boatload of freshman, 17 iirc.

You're right. But LSU won't be able to move the ball either. Should be a slugfest.

Get the frick out of here.
You guys needed 17 in the 4th to put up 27 on fricking Vandy, and you're going to score 32 on State?

close game i think its hard to tell the only good thing that would come of an LSU loss would be that it could possibly help yall get Miles fired which would be a good thing IMO

MSU's oline is poor, wr's are small, qb inexperienced, rb's small. dline is decent, lb's and secondary young. if our d shows up to play and our offense hits on 4 of 8 cylinders, we win unless we turnover the ball multiple times.
Turnovers will be the difference. Ball control will also be a key factor...I say LSU wins 27-10...

i called it a JV squad because they were missing a ton of players.

were we exposed when we put up 15 on Vandy last year then 26 on LSU?
