Rankings don't matter right now, and that is getting way ahead of ourselves. Although LSU just won one of the toughest games on their schedule, almost every SEC game could go either way with exception of just a couple.
LSU should honestly be ranked above Clemson though because they have been totally unimpressive and LSU's resume is much better at this point in the early season. But it honestly doesn't matter.

Nope they will not. our strength is our defense and other than our linebackers being out of position yesterday I think we can go toe to toe with Bama. Hopefully by then Joe Burrow will be reaching his full potential and the offense will be more consistent.

If that happens, LSU would be number 1 in the only poll that matters: the playoff committee ranking. Or at least they should be.
