With 5 weeks to prepare, I think the Oklahoma defense has a shot here.

Maybe... According to Saban from an SI interview:

"He's impossible to simulate in practice," Saban said, and then he rattled off the reasons why.

I like our chances vs OU. Don't like OU's passing attack. Their strength is our weakness.

LSU doesn't give a shite if we go to the Cotton or Peach. It's all meaningless anyway.

And the number of fricks I give: Zero!

BCS or bust. Louisville, FSU, Wisconsin, and NIU can have their BCS bowls because of their shitty arse schedules. I don't care if LSU ends up in a lower tier bowl because I know what this team is capable of and that is all that matters to me at this point.

Johnny Manziel was a freshman when Florida beat them, had improved tremendously against LSU and Bama...right now I don't think there's a defense in the country that can shut him down. Not this year.

Nah, we were much angrier when Florida beat FSU causing us to not go to the Sugar.

In this circumstance, we just get to laugh at aTm.

So we beat aTm in real life and they claim moral victory based on going to the Cotton Bowl?

Holy. fricking. shite.

It will be the second greatest victory for LSU this year.

The greatest was A&M over Bama.

Why ask questions you already know the answer to?

Well, LSU shut him down. I don't know why you couldn't.

You think so lowly of your program that you don't even constitute a win at aTm as worthy of mention. Such is the life of an Aggie fan that is elated over a Cotton Bowl berth. How'd your last Cotton Bowl berth go for you?

There will be mass suicides when they lose to OU.

You might want to pump the brakes just a bit. Nothing is confirmed. These rumors have been flying back and forth for a week now.

Personally I put this match up at less than 50/50 still. Would be great, but lots politics involved on many many levels.
