Actually I was wrong. The new parking garage is going up where the Highland Dining Hall is now.

LSU is expected to begin construction on its first parking garage by the beginning of February, university officials said.

The 750-car, five-floor parking facility will be built on Raphael Semmes Road by Highland Road across the street from the LSU Student Union in the middle of campus.

I like Tiger Stadium the way it is - old and gray.
Its football, not some Paris modeling show.

All this push towards prettiness (stadiums/uniforms, etc) is feminizing college football.

you can keep the traditional look with the arches even if you modernize it.

You're right. Nothing like that happens in Alabama. Ever.

Well last time I was in TS, last year for the Barn, I kept saying to myself, this is where Hodson threw that pass, or that is where Billy Cannon ran back that punt vs the Piss, etc.
For an LSU fan, it is Mecca.
Btw we have season tickets at the club level, def did not look like a high school concession considering the nacho and hot dog bar and clean bathrooms to boot.

Like hell it will. Those two decks don't match. It'll look more like UF and Bama.

It got off track for a couple of pages, and I'm as much to blame for that as anyone. Which is why I've tried in the last few posts to get it back on track.

So everything should be run down, and have no up-keep?

Alabama's stadium renovations, and other facility improvements, have been a contributing factor in great recruiting.

Most Tiger fans, myself included, feel as you do. As well as the LSU Athletic Department.

Here's a couple of the pics from the planned North Stadium Drive improvement project:

LSU to switch to field turf due to more sun blockage.

that would likely not be the case. May have to switch the type of grass, but it will still be grass. Hell there is grass growing in indoor stadiums.

The only indoor stadium, that I am aware of, with real grass is the Arizona Cardinals. That field actually rolls out of the stadium to get the sun it needs.
