LSUs long term Vision…

Biting the hand that feeds you and poking the bear is not always a good strategy.

LSU and their coach tried to flex, and the SEC called their bluff with an expulsion vote.

Lane Kiffin has what, 10 years of solid coaching, maybe 15? Coaches don’t last long at LSU. Miles (won a Natty) was decent but got canned, Ogeron (won a Natty) also canned.

Is the universities reputation and being in the negative spotlight worth all of this over a player who can’t make an NFL roster?

Is that almighty dollar and advantage over other teams worth it?

Bad optics all around and could definitely backfire. LSU will speak a different tune if that SEC TV contact money were to stop. Interesting times.

Right , because im sure the legality of everything wasn't taken care of first.

If you eat a sandwich and I make it illegal to eat sandwiches after you've eaten it, are you the retard?

You’re putting too much emphasis on the SEC without realizing it will done in 10 years.

All this legal drama is to make sure the SEC has the autonomy to do what they want when the day comes to form the super conference.

The NCAA is as good as dead

What rule did LSU break that warrants expulsion?

If this is your argument, yes, it is.

It has been proven that, upon winning football championships and gaining national recognition, student applications and, therefore, university income increases SIGNIFICANTLY.

Every major team wants to win, as their “business” booms afterwards.

You have delusions that the SEC will exist in 10-15 years. You have no long term vision if you don't believe NIL will not kill it off.

If the SEC votes to expel LSU , the SEC will cease to exist as a league !

LSU will sue and win. also ESPN won't let that happen. they will lose too much money. there will be multiple lawsuits and the SEC will lose everyone. LSU broke no rules. Sankey looked like a complete fool on the witness stand the other day. he couldn't answer questions that were asked. couldn't define what a pro player was. and he is the Head of the SEC! he makes 4.8 million a year and doesn't know the rules.

Also, how do you know what LSU’s long term vision is. They haven’t made a statement today.

Dramatic much….like that guy Tuscaloosa

I don’t think it’s a bluff I think it’s a redline.

You will follow the rules or you will be gone.

Either that or the rumored texts from Lane and/or LSU staff to the players who sued are really bad and they don’t think anyone has control in Baton Rouge.

I love OU and Texas fans being the loudest on this as if they have a voice. You're only here because LSU wanted you here. We saved you. Go back to your shanties.
