LSU digging their heels

quote:

The school responded to Wade’s statement Thursday during an interview with Sports Illustrated. “In everything that’s been said by Will and his folks in the past week, not once have they denied any wrongdoing,” says Tom Skinner, the school’s general counsel. “As a university and employer, we need to hear our employee say, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong,’ or explain the circumstances or admit he did do something wrong. We’ve been unable to get to that point. We have no choice, in terms of institutional control, to not suspend someone.”

Will is not even under investigation. This fricking retarded. "Offer" could literally means thousands of things. Why are we so intent on fricking ourselves??

So why not suspend Joe Alleva until we find out how this could happen under his watch

Who is LSU going to target? I would suggest Kermit Davis, or Johnny Jones.

Yeah, when this is coming from your school's counsel, that's not good

As I've said numerous times, The administration MUST protect itself first...it's their primary duty. Wade's gonna protect himself and his financial security first, so you've got the potential for a real soap opera here....but it ain't gonna happen because both sides have too much to lose...there'll be a settlement even though he'll most surely be hit with a show-cause.

This represents the worst case scenario for LSU.

Wade isn’t fired but he isn’t coaching either. Both sides are just sort of sitting in a room quietly while the drapes are being set on fire by the FBI and the NCAA is jerking off in the corner. Meanwhile the fanbase is just watching through the window and screaming.
