Aggies would bitch, but I'll admit its hypocritical for us to say "GS should MAKE LSU do ___", without being willing to be part of the solution ourselves.
Now, if they move it to Saturday and its not a in a night game slot, THEN I'd be completely pissed. If it stays at night though, it just gives us all an easier time to tailgate all day vs having to mix in thanksgiving dinner with tailgating. Blessing in disguise IMO.

I never said anybody is broke. It doesn't make sense to to give up a home game, when they already know LSU isn't winning the west. LSU already has a conference loss to Auburn. There is no way LSU is going to beat Bama and aTm both(probably neither). So I don't blame them for keeping the home game. It is the right decision. All of the schools in the sec share the tv money, no SEC athletic department is broke. That's just fans trying to get a reaction. Only ignorant folks actually believe it.

I absolutely know what it is. Truthfully Chavis really didn't play "prevent" but he played corners off and kept 2 safeties deep allowing teams to dink and dunk their way easily down the field.

LSU realistically can't make the game. We're not likely to run the table against Bama, Ole Miss, A&M, and Arkansas. But having to play @ UF and then @ A&M on Thursday on top of the lost home game revenue was just not good enough.
When this thing washes out Tennessee will be the one cheated and Tennessee will the be the one carrying the fight to the SEC office - to make sure the commissioner understands his responsibility to make sure games are played.

August was a tough month for local businesses and there is no reason LSU should give that up because Florida REALLY wanted a bye this past week. Offered to play in Gainesville Sat/Sun/Mon. Florida you said no. Well that doesn't make for LSU to cancel a home game
