Just saw a Facebook post by Alabama Athletics that more tickets have become available as a result. Not a good look.

Why not? It’s a lame duck coach who doesn’t care, and that’s going to reflect in the players. Why should fans pay for that dumpster fire when they can save their money for next year?

Yeah, when teams suck attendance numbers decrease.

Quantum physics.

No, I’m telling you it’s a different situation when the coach and team (for the most part) aren’t even trying. That wasn’t the case even in those terrible 1990s teams.

Hell, Saban has to get on his knees and beg for Bammers to come to the games, even when they're good.

Odd fanbase, will commit all types of crimes in the name of muh ROW TAHD but can't come to the games.

Thanks for the reminder. The other 18 threads on this very same topic definitely weren't enough.

It's a 24 hour round-trip Greyhound costing nearly $160 to get from Baton Rouge to Tuscaloosa. Understandably, that's a tall order for most LSU fans given the state of their program.

I went to high school in Alabama for two years when Shula was coach in 2004 and 2005. Friends I had and people I knew showed 0 interest in football, never discussed it, nor wore anything pertaining to Alabama. There were some open Alabama fans, but Auburn fans showed out the most for obvious reasons.

FF to 2012, those same people will convince a stranger their first words as a baby were Roll Tide.

That's too bad, I was going to challenge any LSU fans who are brave enough to throw hands with me at the Sonic.

It must be embarrassing that tGOAT Alabama has lost to lowly Southern Miss 6 times in front of all those folks.

He was literally asking people to come to the game vs Southern Miss this year during the week leading up to it.
