It certainly does for LSU fans.

Yet Forbes list us as the 4th most valuable college sports program in the country.

are you too dumb to figure out why LSU fired Brian Kelly and hired Lane Kiffin!

Tigers been turning a profit in baseball for decades. That's what happens when you LEAD the country in attendance every year since the 80s.

Care to post that CFB record this decade?

All I know is that it's a winning record with a better bowl winning percentage than Texas with their awesome .500 %.

And that may very well be the case on why I feel that lol. I Also barely tuned into Florida winning the national championship last year though, haven’t watched a full NBA game in years, etc.

With the $75 million spent on buyouts, salary, and NIL for the football program and the sorry state of basketball leading to horrible attendance will any LSU sport be profitable this season?

Yes. Buyout money does not come from athletic department revenue, nor does third-party NIL deals. Thanks for your interest in LSU athletics.

What's funny is that even at LSU, basketball still makes money while baseball still loses money.

Tv revenue. Pretty easy to see why that’d be the case. Not rocket science here

Mainly because baseball expenses have just about doubled since just 5 years ago.

LSU football has finished unranked four of the past six seasons. LSU has zero top 10 finishes this decade. LSU has made the college football playoffs just one time. Clearly your definition of good is different than everyone else.

Tennessee has had a better five year stretch in football than LSU.

Baseball still loses money every year. In the 2024-25 fiscal year, LSU baseball reported over $10 million in revenue ($10,066,800) but operated with a deficit of $921,607, as expenses reached $10,988,407. While among the nation's elite, the program's still loses money.

LSU sports generated $3.8M in sports revenue surplus in FY25 and $1.8M in FY24.

By comparison, Alabama sports generated $32.7M in sports revenue surplus in FY25 but -$27.9M in FY24.

Thus LSU is more profitable in sports revenue than Alabama over last 2 years $5.6M vs $4.8M

Personally, I don't give a shite if a sport makes money or not. It's for entertainment purposes.

The two big money making sports are horrendous. Me thinks the Kiffin train will eventually crash and burn like he always does. The basketball program should not even exist in its current state.

Contra....Did you have a bad night in the bed with the 'girls'?...or maybe it was the 'boys'!

You've got to learn that she has no clue as to what she's talking about and just let her run her mouth, it's all she has at this point.
