1) he accelerates quicker. One of the advantages to being a 190 pound athlete.
2) he knows where he wants to run.
I've seen deer run away from faster predators all of the time. Nothing like angular velocity in the wrong direction to create space.

UGA could decide to triple team Perkins with 3 OL on every play for all I know. The number of sacks he ultimately gets has no bearing on the discussion of whether Stetson Bennett is faster than he is.

I am not sure but if Bennect gets outside the pocket and HP40 is chasing he is going no where. Just not sure why you can not see that. Are there other Dawg fans who really think that? You hv the better team this year that is a fact , but dude seriously. Come on.

So Perkins is faster than Bennett but he won't be able to prove it because Bennett has faster acceleration and is able to change directions quicker.

Perkins has been clocked at a 4.49 40. Bennett has been clocked at 4.58 in the 40.
Does that mean Perkins is faster? Yep. Does that also mean Bennett is fast enough to still get away due to agility and acceleration at times? Yeah.
