Ha, exactly. It’s what Lewis Grizzard dubbed, “redneck pride.” They’ll criticize themselves amongst peers, but fiercely oppose factual critique by outsiders. It’s a phenomenon that’s befallen most insular societies throughout mankind’s history, its not unique to LSU.

So the replies to your posts would be ad hominem and not insults as they seek to discredit your intellectual mastery of the topic.

Call them whatever you please, I’ve simply reposted that which LSU administrators themselves confessed in the documentary, along with some objective facts regarding standardized test scores and acceptance rates.

Doesn’t that prove the point. All 3 coaches are good at building programs, suggesting you were in shambles as they came in

We were in shambles before Les Miles came in? You really think Nick Saban left it in shambles?

For someone so preoccupied with intelligence, you seem remarkably dependent on insults to make your point.

You’ve mistaken a school’s success for your own personal accomplishment, and now you’re using it as a substitute for a personality. Let’s not confuse the two.

Your argument apparently begins and ends with historical dates, insults about IQ, and the assumption that an entire state can be judged by its football team. That isn’t intellectual superiority; it’s tribalism dressed up in pretentious vocabulary.

And the “ad hominem” lecture is especially amusing coming from someone whose entire closing argument is to insult people’s intelligence, university, and state. You don’t get to condemn personal attacks while making them the centerpiece of your own argument.

You keep insisting that everyone else is proving your point, but that’s a convenient way to avoid considering whether you’ve actually made one. Declaring yourself the smartest person in the room is easy when you define everyone who disagrees with you as stupid.

You’re confusing proximity to greatness with greatness itself. And that seems to be the only championship you’re personally claiming.

I'll leave this conversation, or lack thereof, with a thought. I'd like to believe your insincere attempt at sincerity on the topic but between the alternating braggadocious comments and degrading descriptions of others, you fall flat of being convincing. Practice your delivery, your command of the English language is fine if not inflated. At any rate, I wish you the best.

Ah, where to begin with such a bootless analysis?

First, and once more, please identify the falsehood in my original post from which LSU posters have single handedly dragged down this thread. I’m being assailed for posting about a highly topical documentary concerning the SEC and my surprise at the confessions of an SEC institution’s own alumni and administrators.

Second, my posts regarding scores and comparative intellect were only made in response to bizzarre insults made by LSU posters on those very subjects. Why should I be preempted in engaging in a topic that you all clearly find germane to the conversation?

Lastly, I’ve never stated that I am, nor do I consider myself, some member of the intelligentsia. Your posters (to include you) are the only ones who’ve made such a claim. I can only assume that a grammatically sound statement is beyond your usual eloquence, and you thus strangely take umbrage at its utterance.

In any case, good luck to you and I hope you have a wonderful evening.

Ah, and again, we see a condescending response devoid of any substantive rebuttal to the actual original post or any of its accompanying statements. I’m sure the fact that your post embodies that which you allege to critique is lost on you.

You may keep your wishes, and redirect your “best” upon fundamental reading comprehension. Good luck to you, sir.

Now that you've established yourself as a superior person in every way, where do we go from here? And for the record, Georgia Southern average ACT score is 21. So, it's doubtful you even attended a university.

Get outside of the Atlanta metro area and Georgia is no different than any other Southern state

The fact that you believe my responses are AI polished is revealing in a manner that insults you, and you alone. I’ll give you some time to comprehend that one.

And given that I work in Palm Beach private equity, your positivity is as promising as your LSU degree. In other words, you do not out earn me, that I can guarantee.

Loses to Auburn…comes here to vent frustration for the biggest choke job Georgia has seen since Mark Richt days.

Checks notes…realizes in the last 25 years the 3rd world university has more nattys than his poor bulldogs.
