Without Saban, LSU is Ole Miss.
I forgot that Nick Saban won the BCS championship at LSU while he coached at Alabama in 2007. And I forgot Nick Saban led LSU to the 2011 national championship where LSU lost to Alabama led by Nick Saban. The guy is so good he coaches both schools, I'm impressed man.

A few 9-4 seasons =get familiar with the 90s? I don't get it

Another take, I think its flattering how Auburn has these random 3-9 type seasons on occasion, and bama fans dont talk down to them negatively any worse than they do in regards to LSU having 9-4 seasons. Maybe it means LSU is more of a threat in their minds, or they just like to pick at LSU fans more. Either way LSU hasn't had a losing season in 19 years, but every 4 loss season is supposed to bring them back to those days, according to Alabama fans.

Who built that program and set it up for success? And if it wasn’t Nick Saban, then why did you fire the guy who did it?

If you honestly think nick saban had that big of impact on LSU 7 years later, then you are somewhat delusional. And why fire the guy? Maybe he started underperforming, getting too one-dimensional and stubborn, and was losing the fanbase? Why does any coach get fired? He didnt meet the goals and standard expected of him, it happens fairly often in college football.

Who was LSU when Saban showed up?
They were a cellar dweller. That’s who they were. Saban rescued that program from becoming nothing more than Mississippi State on the Bayou. Happy to make a bowl game, and name your children after a coach who won 10 games.

That’s a hot take.

With the talent Louisiana has, you cant say they would be Mississippi state. Without the 90s, LSU is/was a top 20 program, and that's a lot of days before saban arrived. You can say the same thing about Alabama. Just because bear bryant won championships long ago, didnt mean you were relevant in 2006. Alabama wouldn't be Alabama without Saban either

I think you foolish not to regard LSU as a "great" program.

Bama has won an SEC Championship in every decade of its existence, with or without Bryant or Saban. 8 different Bama head coaches have won conference championships, and Bama had won multiple national titles before Bear Bryant ever coached a game here.
And we finished in the Top 10 in 2005.
