I'd say there is enough smoke and too many stories that are similar to assume anything but they're true.
They very well could be embellished, but in general i think its a safe assumption they're true.

It would seem so, George. Coach O's life has been in slow melt mode since January 2020.
Look, people battling demons have a difficult time. It is the reason there are so many support organizations

I wasn't shocked by all the women stuff, I think that had been pretty well noted the last 12 months. I was pretty shocked by the fact that he didn't work nearly as hard. He seemed like the type of guy who would always work his arse off at football stuff.
i dont think it was as much not working as hard, its that he let his off the field shite bleed into his on the field preperation and let it become a full time distraction.
and honestly as things didnt go well last year O reverted more and more back into the Ed O of old. After Aranda left he only had E as the guy he trusted and the only adult left in the room. this year...there is no adult and you have seen it spiral down even worse after E left the building.
the lack of prep and the organizational things put huge strains on his relationships in football ops....and the off the field stuff the last 2 years had already really really strained those relationships.
there have been reports that one of the reasons we are having so many injuries is we went from the nfl style practices 2019 and prior to where we are doing way way more hitting then we did under miles and practices are long and players are fed up with that shite.
in the end its one of these things that he lost his moral compass, he lost his support system in football ops and on the field and he honestly didnt know where to go.
I am of the opinion he is drinking again and that was the real turning point. all the classic signs are there.

What an idiotic meathead.
Meathead reached the Pinnacle of college football. Made millions of dollars and had more pussy thrown at him than Wilt Chamberlain. You could say he's doing fine.
I think the success went to his head and ruined his life.

That's really what I meant - you said it much better. I don't think he consciously was like "welp, frick this job I'm gonna be a lazy arse", but he started concentrating on the things that he gained access to after 2019 and allowed them to take up space that football used to.

His game needs work. A millionaire should pick better hunting grounds...at least Bucee's.

O was slanging some dick. Dude burned out but don’t act like he didn’t frick a ton of bombshells
Call him what you want but he’s walking away with a natty, 17 million and the greatest Louisiana milf smash list of all time

pretty much. and i think alot of it was he kept grasping at something that he didnt know how to build back without aranda and E. it was like he was grasping at a ghost and everytime something went wrong he reverted back more and more to what he knew which is more the Ole Miss O.
again i maintain he started drinking while chasing pussy and that in the end was his downfall. Its so bad that people in the industry do not want to and will not work with him.
i mean at UK he was back to throwing chairs......sounds exactly like the coach O was all knew.

It's hard to say if any of that is true. You know how the rumor mill goes. Some of it sounds pretty out there.

his millions got him laid. Nothing any one else with millions couldn't do.

There is absolutely no smoke out there regarding him drinking again, and there is a lot of smoke. What does need to be factored in, and it's almost impossible for any out of staters to understand, is his Cajun heritage, especially those Cajuns from "down the bayou". They are a whole different breed of people, and not in a bad way necessarily. They are good people who work hard & party even harder. Working on a shrimp boat, for which Coach O is mocked, is hard work , far from any 8 to 5 hour a day work. But the comment that he will meet the wrong woman one day, the implication being he will get his arse beat, is far from being close to the truth. I'll take any Cajun in a fight any time, any where, Coach O for sure.

Did he tho? He seemed to have one sctick..
"I coached Warren Sapp and you could become the next Warren Sapp" or "You play long snapper like Warren Sapp played DL"
Seriously he always referenced Warren Sapp.

Yep that's the O we all know and love. There was a rain delay game when he coached at OM and he took the team into the Indoor Practice Field and started doing tackling drills and shite during the rain delay
