Maybe it's because we're already looking ahead to A&M.
Maybe it's because LSU is one of the tops in the nation in big play rate and Ole Miss is near the bottom in surrendering big plays.
Maybe it's because Pete's defense is ranked 108th in the nation and LSU's is #1.
Maybe it's because we have a secret weapon inside the Ole Miss coaching staff. Frank Wilson.
You're going to lose Saturday and turn around and lose the following week to Florida.
Kiffin is gone, Chambliss will finally graduate, Pete will get another DUI and start day drinking and Ole Miss will return to being an insignificant program where it belongs.

It's totally understanding how you Ole Miss fans were upset with Kiffin leaving ya'll for what he saw, as "greener pastures".
A lot of us, Tiger fans get it. And somewhere in our overjoyed hearts with Lane's decision, we felt a bit of empathy for you guys.
But life goes on, dude...just imagine yourself as the heartbroken young bride-to-be left at the alter. The no-good S.O.B. that was to be her husband
showed his true colors and she may not have been happy with the situation at the time, but she will move on.
You guys immediately were exorcised of any good feelings or love you had for Kiffin. One day ya'll would go to war at his side, the next day ya'll were killing him off, in your minds, of course. There were statements made that Kiffin wasn't that good anyhow, that Pete Golding made that team what it was.
Please be honest with yourself. It'll be far less painful to lose to Kiffin's version of LSU, if we do indeed prevail, once you've admitted it was his presence that made Ole Miss relevant. Let the hate go...get behind Pete now and hear us when we say, "go to hell, Ole Piss!"
