You're trying to argue that yards are more important than points.
Don't forget who's #1 in offensive efficiency...not just yards
Efficiency measures everything (including worthless garbage pts)
#1 Deal with it.

2012 Les Miles: We're going to change the offense.
2013 Les Miles: We changed the offense!
2014 Les Miles: Psyche.
2015 Les Miles: We're going to change the offense.
2016 Les Miles: We're going to change the offense.
2017 Ed Orgeron: We changed the offense!
2018 Ed Orgeron: Psyche.
2019 Joe Burrow: We're going to score 40, 50, 60 points a game, and you're going to like it.
While we've seen it a lot, there does seem to be something different this year...

You guys care way too much arguing over who's the #1 offense.
It's stupid. There's no extra benefit/award for it anyway.
Who cares? It's so close anyway.

Wow.... I can't imagine why LSU fans are cocky or why they're passionate this year. I mean damn... it's like to OP feels LSU fans should expect to just be last.

Can you find another post just like mine?
A post on this board downplaying LSU's success and predicting a loss against a real team?
No, I can't find that anywhere. Can you help me look?

Spoken like the true Auburn Dumbass you are. We may be an Alabama whipping boy but we are #2 in that line, Auburn is by far the #1 team Alabama loves to destroy!!!

When have we seen LSU field the best offense in the country?
quote:
Well, still not now.
Well, considering we do have a common opponent (Texas), let's look at the stats.
Burrow-- 31/39 471 yards 4 TD's 1 int
Hurts-- 16/28 235 yards 3 TD's 1 int
LSU--104 yards rushing
Oklahoma--282 yards rushing
Total off. for LSU 575
Total off. for OK 517

Dude, take something to calm yourself down.
Your care meter is off the charts.
How are you #2 and not #1? You haven't beat Bama in like 30 years.
Where are you getting your info?

I agree with this. The thing I'm arguing is that it's silly to use yards as the measuring stick. Yards mean nothing without points.
Tear it up between the 20s but fail to score in the red zone and you aren't impressive. LSU leads the nation in PPG and red zone scoring.
In fact, LSU and OU have the same amount of red zone trips, 34. LSU has 29 TDs (13 rushing, 16 passing) and 5 FGs, scoring on all 34 trips. OU has 24 TDs (14 rushing, 10 passing) and 7 FGs, failing to score on 3 trips.

Yeah, tough place for Auburn to win. We haven't won there since 1974 or so.. long time.
Hopefully that changes this year.
