Regarding the Saban Statue, the University should have waited to commission this statue.

As I said in the other thread on the subject I do not like it. Of course they didn't ask for my input.
They should have patterned it on his little "jump" when Cody blocked the UT fieldgoal

You probably know as little about football as you do about me, which is nothing.
Saban has been at Alabama for a just few years and Alabama is already putting a statue up of him. Normally, those things are done after a coach has been there a long time or has won a lot over the years. Saban has won one SEC championship at Alabama and one national title, both in the same year. Just don't think that's worthy of a bronze statue at this point in his tenure at Alabama.
