I recommend parking off Highland by the northgate part campus for 20$.. about a 8-10 minute walk to TS or park near Alex Box for free but it will be about 20-30 min walk and further from campus

Presuming you are coming down I-49 to Lafayette, go east on I-10 & cross the Miss. River bridge till S.Acadian Thruway. Right off I-10 & keep straight, past the lakes, till you dead end on Highland. By then, just follow the game day traffic & park anywhere as close as you can to T.S. For the full experience, and to avoid heavy traffic, get there by 11 - 12 noon. Wear your Hawgs shirt & walk towards the stadium, you'll get all the food & drinks you can handle.

If you are going to your first game in TS you are going to be shocked at how well you are treated by our fans. We love entertaining our opponents (be a good sport about Tiger Bait). As long as you are cool (especially if you are with your 10 year old son) you are going to be invited to tailgates.

Have a great time

For some good tailgating hit the Touchdown Village RV lots. Usually some good ol LSU baws will feed you and share libations.

Pregame ..I agree.
Never ate so many random fried things in brown paper bags in my life. Very welcoming.

During game-Like all places, have thick skin and laugh with them. I’ve only sat in the middle of LSU sections with LSU friends. Took some crap but mostly just drunks being drunks.

I think parking won't be an issue. Probably barely see any purple and gold. Half full stadium maybe?

I'm very curious what the actual in TS attendance numbers will be.

Tons of pairs or 4 tickets together on stubhub. Great deals. If i could go, South 405 has seats for 50 bucks. That's where I think would be a pretty cool experience.

Thanks everyone. I troll a bunch on here, but I'm a pretty laid back dude(especially with my son), so I expect we'll have a lot of fun on Saturday.

Don't traumatize your son like that. LSU has the worst fans in football. He'll be scarred for life.
